Ingredients

Scale

500 ml whole milk
400 grams condensed milk
15 grams agar agar (china grass)
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla essence

Instructions

Lightly grease a square pan and set aside.
Break agar agar into small pieces, add to a saucepan with water, and soak for 10 minutes.
In another saucepan, whisk together milk and condensed milk until smooth.
Heat the agar agar mixture on low heat, stirring until fully dissolved.
Pour the dissolved agar agar into the milk mixture and heat gently, whisking continuously.
Add vanilla essence and stir well.
Pour mixture into the prepared pan and allow to cool at room temperature.
Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours until fully set.
Unmold, slice into pieces, and serve.

Notes

Ensure agar agar is fully dissolved to avoid grainy texture.
Do not freeze as it will affect the pudding consistency.
