Ingredients
1 lemon, juiced
1-inch piece ginger, peeled
1 cucumber, peeled and chopped
Handful of fresh mint leaves
1 cup brewed green tea, cooled
1 cup water
Optional: 1 tablespoon raw honey or pure maple syrup
Instructions
1. Brew the green tea using a saucepan and let it cool completely.
2. On a wood cutting board, use a chef knife to peel and chop the cucumber, peel the ginger, and juice the lemon.
3. In a high speed blender, combine the chopped cucumber, ginger, lemon juice, mint leaves, cooled green tea, and water.
4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
5. For a smoother consistency, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a serving pitcher.
6. Serve immediately over ice or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
