Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar, plus extra for rolling
1 large egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
Add the egg, milk, and vanilla and mix until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in extra granulated sugar.
Place cookies 2 inches apart on prepared sheets and bake for 8–10 minutes.
Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
Let cool on baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For best results, unwrap the chocolate kisses before baking so they adhere properly when pressed into warm cookies.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
