  • Total Time: 240
  • Yield: 80 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup strong brewed coffee
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
1 cup cold water
1 cup boiling water
Whipped cream (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool slightly.

In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 1 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

Add 1 cup of boiling water to the gelatin mixture and stir until completely dissolved.

Stir in the brewed coffee and sugar until well combined.

Pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving cups.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Once set, unmold the gelatin or serve directly from the cups.

Garnish with whipped cream if desired before serving.

Notes

Avoid adding fresh pineapple, kiwi, or papaya as they contain enzymes that prevent gelatin from setting.
Serve chilled. Garnish with fresh fruit or a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
